2016 Release Schedule

I thought it'd be a little fun to post what my plans are for book releases next year. As of right now, I'm planning on one release every month. I've already got several books ready to go, so it's not as daunting as it sounds. But, this also isn't a guarantee. I won't rush anything just to put something out. If something's not ready, I'll hold off on it until it is. So, even though this is my plan as of now, it can...and probably will...change at some point. Those who've read and followed along with The Cain Series know that I had book 4, The Cain Redemption finished, then I rewrote most of it, delaying its release by almost a year. So, again, this isn't a 100% guarantee...but, as of right now, this is what my plans are:

2016

Jan.-  The Cain Series Box Set (Books 1-4)

Feb.- Task Force 88: Gods of Justice

Mar.- Task Force 88: The Rescue

Apr.- Task Force 88: The Raid

May- Ghost Fall

June- Task Force 88: The Lost Squad

July- CIA Ghost Series Box Set (Books 1-3)

Aug.- Task Force 88: The Fall of Echo Five

Sept.- Task Force 88 Box Set (Books 1-3)

Oct.- Task Force 88: Untitled

Nov.- A Dangerous Man

Dec.- Task Force 88 Box Set (Books 4-6)

Kindle Unlimited

Just wanted to announce some changes to the status of a few of my books. The CIA Ghost series (Rogue Ghost, and Ghost Pursuit) will be taken off Kobo, Barnes & Noble, and Apple effective immediately. Both books will be under an exclusive agreement with Amazon and available in the Kindle Unlimited program. The Cain series is unaffected by this and will still be available on all sales channels.

This has been something I've been thinking about and debating for the last two weeks. I really didn't want to be exclusive with Amazon as I didn't want to possibly miss readers through other sales channels. But the reality is that the books are mostly only selling on Amazon anyway. The Cain series is getting decent sales on other outlets but the Ghost series is mostly only seeing traction on Amazon. So I'm gonna test this out for a few months and see how it goes. If you don't typically get books through Amazon and still want the books you can always download the Kindle app. I realize this might be annoying to some or put people off, which is why I've been delaying this, but I need to try to maximize sales as best I can.

Here are the links to Amazon (U.S.) for the Ghost series:

Rogue Ghost

Ghost Pursuit

Thanks for understanding (hopefully). If it makes sense to pull the books out at some point and go back to a wide release, then I'll certainly do so at that time.

The Cain Redemption now available for pre-order!

As the title suggests, The Cain Redemption is now available for pre-order on Kobo and Amazon. The page count on the Amazon listing is messed up right now..says 105 pages but it's actually 170-180ish. Amazon always makes my page counts less than they actually are for some reason. Once the file is actually released for sale it should be updated to its proper length.

Aug. 28th is the day it'll actually be released if you don't pre-order.

Cain Series

At the end of The Cain Redemption I will be including an Authors Notes section describing my thoughts on the series. It'll basically include what happened throughout the series and why it certain things happened the way that they did. I'll also include some questions people have wondered which I'll answer. Some people have had questions about the books and I thought it'd be neat to answer them.

example: (This was an actual question someone emailed to me)

Did any of the characters change throughout the course of the series? Were all the characters exactly            how you imagined them when you started the series?

So if you have any questions you want answered that you'd like to include at the end of the book, let me know. I'm hoping to make this a fun little section that can kind of go behind the scenes of the book.

Offer

As some of you may know, reviews can be critical to an author's success (or failure). Reviews, in themselves, aren't something I obsess over. But I do recognize that they can sometimes help a reader in determining whether or not they want to purchase a book, which in turn helps sales. Sales I like! :-)

Right now The Cain Conspiracy has 11 reviews on Amazon (US) with a 4 star rating. Not too bad. In an effort to get even more reviews, I am currently offering 5 free copies of The Cain Conspiracy. If you have a Kindle, I will gift you a copy. If you have Kobo, Nook, something else...I will e-mail you an EPUB version. All I ask is that you leave a review on whatever site you frequent most (Amazon, BN, Kobo, GooglePlay).

I am also making the same deal for Rogue Ghost. It just came out last month and has one review so far, though it's a good one. Same deal...5 free copies of Rogue Ghost on whatever device you're using in exchange for a review on that site.

If you're interested in either of these books, all you have to do is send me an email at mikeryan36@verizon.net and let me know which book you're interested in.

Thanks!

Updates

Just passing on some interesting little tidbits. The sequel to Rogue Ghost will be released in late June...right now it's looking like June 22...but it's not set in stone yet. It will be called Ghost Pursuit. Cover's done, just got it this past week. Looks great. Just waiting for formatting to be done then it'll be all set.

I've gotten a few emails about when The Cain Redemption will be released. Current plans have it being published in September. Still have some editing issues to work out, there's no cover yet, etc. My focus right now is on getting Ghost Pursuit out. Once that's been released my full attention will go back to Redemption. I'm shooting for Sept. 1 for the release date. But that's still flexible at this point.
